While the schisto.xyz database includes an original integrative analysis of bulk RNA-seq data, most datasets are collected from external studies, for which the original publications should be cited.

The updated schisto.xyz is designed to be a comprehensive platform for collecting, visualising and sharing schistosome omics data, thus to facilitate the reusability and interoperability of large-scale datasets.

A new manuscript is in preparation and for now you can still cite the bioRiv paper from 2018 (which had never been submitted to any journal):

Lu Z, Zhang Y, Berriman M (2018) A web portal for gene expression across all life stages of Schistosoma mansoni. bioRxiv 308213; doi: https://doi.org/10.1101/308213

or simply indicate SchistoXYZ (schisto.xyz) in the text.
